What we do

The Empire State of Food is a two-sided marketplace that matches local farmers with institutional buyers, like schools or hospitals. This is a way to decentralize the food supply chain and create new opportunities for small farmers.

We are graduate students studying Information Systems at Cornell and are building tech to connect small farmer with institutional buyers. We are on a mission to help institutions source locally from high quality farms.
